- Renter agrees to pay an amount of $400 as a security deposit for the rental; this security deposit is non-refundable if the Renter cancels this agreement prior to arrival; the deposited amount will be returned to the Renter within 7 days after the rental if no damage or other charges are to be deducted
- Renter agrees to pay an amount of $250/night as Rental for the Bungalow Cottage
- Payment in full is due one month before the first day of rental
- Standard weekly rentals start on Saturdays at 2:00 pm and end the following Saturday at 11:00 am
- Owner will provide dishes, glassware, silverware, cooking and serving utensils
- Owner will provide quilts or comforters, and pillows, mattress pads and blankets
- Owner will provide hand towels for the bathroom sink, and dish towels & hand towels for the kitchen sink.
- Owner will provide quality paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels & facial tissues) for the renter’s use
- Renter will be responsible for providing their own linen service (sheets, pillowcases and bath towels). Owner will provide this linen service for an additional fee of $100 per week, if requested.
- Renter will be responsible for their own firewood
- No pets are allowed
- No smoking is allowed anywhere inside the cottage
- No moving or setting up new fire pits
- Renter will leave the rental property in the same condition as when rented; bathrooms must be cleaned, carpets vacuumed and floors washed; Owner will provide cleaning materials
- Renter is responsible for safeguarding any children or other guests at all times. This includes supervising any swimming, waterfront or dock use. If using any of our watercraft, use proper judgement for the lake conditions and ages of those involved, and require life jackets to be properly worn
- Owner is not responsible for any damages or injury to the Renter, the Renter’s guests or their personal property due to the Renter’s actions
In compliance with the Town of Canadice Short-Term Rental code:
1. the Maximum property occupancy for this property is 4 people
2. the Maximum on-site parking provided for this property is 4 vehicles
3. Renter agrees with the “Good Neighbor Statement” devised by the Town of Canadice code:
- a) The Short-Term Rental is in a residential area in the Town of Canadice and that renters should be considerate of the residents in neighboring homes
- b) Guests are requested to observe quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. – 7 a.m.
- c) All renters will be subject to New York Penal Law §240.20 or any successor statute regarding disorderly conduct.
- d) Littering is illegal; and
- e) Recreational campfires must be attended
